Cosmos Flowers in full bloom
Autumn is the best season for walking in Japan.
Hannya-ji temple is only 30 minutes on foot from Nara Park.
The Cosmos flowers are in full bloom there now.
Cosmos is a long-blooming annual,
and will be in flower until mid-November.
Why don’t you come visit?
You can take a rest at nearby Uemura Farm, opposite the west gate.
Fresh milk, ice cream and nice food are sold there.
Open: 9:00 ~ 17:00 (Lunch: 11:00 ~ 14:00)
Holidays: Wednesdays, New year’s day and eve.
Also, the former Nara Juvenile Prison is only 5 minutes’ walk away.
It will soon be converted into a unique hotel…!
