Himuro-shirayuki Festival (Shaved Ice Festival)
at Nara Kasugano International Forum 甍 IRAKA annex
Many famous cafes from Nara and other local prefectures will provide special shaved ice.
From 8:30am, a ceremony to dedicate the shaved ice will be held at Himuro-jinja shrine, followed from 9:00am by an ice procession to Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA annex. In the evening of May 5th, a musical dedication will be performed at Himuro-jinja shrine from 6 to 7 pm.
Shaved ice will be sold at the IRAKA annex 10:00 ~ 17:00
Advance tickets have already sold out, but you can buy tickets on the day from 9am.
Big crowds are expected!
